New images from the series "Alien: Earth" and plot details revealed by showrunner Noah Hawley:

▫️Earth is controlled by four other massive corporations alongside Weyland-Yutani: Prodigy, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. The planet has also changed climatically, becoming more humid and hotter.

▫️Wendy, the main character of the series, works for Prodigy. She is—cautiously, spoilers ahead!—a hybrid, a robot with the brain of a real child. The city where Wendy lives is called Prodigy City.

▫️In its vicinity, in 2120, a Weyland-Yutani ship crashes. Onboard, five monsters, including a xenomorph, arrive on the planet. Wendy is part of a group that investigates the crash site.

"Alien: Earth" is set to premiere on August 12 on FX and Hulu.
