• Question: Do you think summer will come to London this year?🙃
Smiling through tears as I’m really missing the sun and 20+ temperatures 🥲 oh well, at least it’s not too hot to run!

  • It’s all about time management and prioritisation nowadays
During workdays, I usually swim/cycle in the morning, do gym/yoga during lunch, run/swim in the evenings I aim to do 2 workouts most days, sometimes three 🥹 and make sure they don’t clash
Weekends are reserved for long early morning rides one day, and early morning swims and long runs the other
Having just changed jobs, I’m in the office 4-5 days a week so I have 2 gym memberships + pay as you go pool separately, and a triathlon coach 😂
Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes my heard hurts just thinking about it and all the things I need to get ready and pack to make the most of the day
2 months and 1 week to go till Ironman Copenhagen 🤯 @ironmandenmark

  • There’s been a lot of “anything is possible” and “it will get easier”, constantly repeated in my head during the training lately
A lot of workouts feel really tough and impossible at the beginning I need to find motivation to start, ignore tiredness and soreness, keep going for 30-60 minutes to ease into the session
However, in most instances, after warming up or getting to a halfway point, it gets better and much more doable - it’s funny how the 2nd half of the workout can feel better than the 1st one when you’re training loads! And it does get better Every time it gets better, it’s a proof that it’s doable and boosts motivation for the next one A couple of bad sessions and they get better again! Never give up ❤️

  • I’m an IronWoman 🥹❤️ First 70 3 Ironman completed and I had the most wonderful time doing it Zell am See - Kaprun area is absolutely amazing, I could not stop singing and dancing while on my bike and on my run (had loads of smiles from people watching the race 🤣), enjoyed every second of it (except for the steep uphill at the end of the long climb, but it was love through pain nevertheless), it was incredibly cute to see all local people supporting and also watching wildlife on the route (such as funny goats playing and rolling down the hill) I loved it, I would definitely recommend it and I would do it again
A couple of years ago I couldn’t imagine myself doing it and looked at the people who completed a half ironman with lots of respect Even after I signed up and until very recently, I had no idea how I would complete the swim Also, I did some serious training but I’ve never done a 90km ride non-stop (would always stop for coffee and cakes in the middle 😂) either Now I had to do a swim, a ride, a run and all the transitions at one go without getting too tired And I made it 🥹 only by the very end when I had 3 or 4km of running left my body started feeling quite tired and I got a bit lightheaded Crossed the finish line feeling strong and very much alive though
This race definitely wasn’t my solo achievement
Thanks to dilloncburns , @nobod7 , @hampsteadtri , @kentcross5 and @koasports01 for the support with the training, especially with the swimming and for believing in me
Thanks to @ironmaneurope and @ironman_austria for inviting me, the organisation on the course was incredible
Thanks to @uarunning for amazing #uaflow Elite shoes that felt so good on the run
To @maurten_official for the best nutrition, no issues!
To @tirolerhof_zellamsee hotel for amazing sleep and fresh food
To @francebikerentals for an amazing bike which I rented as my plans changed last minute
To @2xu_uk for a trisuit and a wetsuit that I love
Huge thanks to @henwj for all the amazing support leading up to the race, during it and after it
And to all my friends and followers and just everyone who were part of it
Feeling perfect now Thanks to everyone, you’re amazing❤️

  • I can run marathons for fun 🥹
Marathon nr 4 completed! This was the first time I wasn’t going for a PB (still recovering from 70 3 Ironman, slightly injured and have another race in a week ), and it was fun but it wasn’t easy had a rollercoaster of emotions - really enjoying the view and the atmosphere at the start, then getting annoyed that I’m running “slow” and not overtaking people, then realising that even at a relatively comfortable pace I am still doing a sub 4h marathon, relaxing into it and feeling proud, then getting worried about my injuries, then forgetting about the pain and starting to feel hot and tired, then just absolutely loving it all again, getting emotional seeing other people and amazing support from spectators and much more The organisation was fantastic and there were so many water/electrolyte stations, and I think I stopped at every single one of them The race started at 7:10 and 17°C but we had a very hot day and when I finished at 11am it was already 29°C and the sun was strong! My goal was to do this as a training run but secretely wanted sub 4h so very happy with 3:49 today, especially considering how hot it was and that I’m not exactly used to such heat The route was great too, super scenic and easy, a bit hilly compared to my flat runs in London but definitely nothing crazy All in all, loved it…
A big big thanks to @dteendurance and @sydney_marathon for sponsoring me, it was very well worth it flying all the way from London to do it, and I had an amazing experience Fingers crossed it becomes a major in 2025 and I hope to participate next year too 💙
