It’s not that easy to meet people in Bali that actually live here People come and go leaving you a little heartbroken after you’ve got such a beautiful connection with them… @veronicamng___ You’re a bit guilty of this! I hope to see you here again! 🥹
Being 24/7 with my soul mates for 3 full weeks… What can I say… It’s been the most quality time we’ve ever had!
We visited so many stunning places, we went on many adventures, we laughed soooo hard and we went a bit wild without thinking about the consequences… (I was with 3 hours of sleep in my body when we did the diving trip early morning, no regrets though) 😂
I freaking love you both! And I can’t wait to see you in London this summer and get more stories to tell together! ❤️

This is why you need to start shooting self-portrait photography as a beginner photographer:
- You’ll practise camera technique and get WAY better over time
- You can experiment with lighting as much as you want without fear of messing up till you get better at it
- It’ll enhance your creativity
- You can try lighting setups you may have in mind before shooting with a client
- You’ll learn A LOT about posing and what works Which will help you immensely with future clients!
- You’ll get confidence shooting real work when the time comes because you’ve been practising before with yourself
- You put yourself in your clients’ shoes which makes you more connected to them during a photoshoot
- With time, you’ll see which lighting you like the most and you’ll find “your style”
And I can carry on forever about how much you can benefit from it!
I LOVE self-portrait photography It’s such an intimate time with myself, my camera, and my creativity All my self-portraits hide strong emotions and stories behind them that nobody knows but me Which is what makes it so special when I look at them
Lighting is one of the main tools I use to express my feelings and emotions during the shooting I like to play with dark shadows and RGB lights to convey those emotions
So many people would be surprised about what I was going through while I was taking some of my old self-portraits It’s even surprising to me that I even wanted to take my camera… so capturing myself with it it’s even harder to believe But I’m so happy I did…
Some of my favourite self-portraits were taken in the worst moments of my life, and I love that 🥀
You don’t need to be happy, motivated, or super skilled at something to create art You just need your feelings and your creativity to express yourself…
