• The Sumerians knew that 3I/ATLAS would return in 2025! What do the ancient tablets hide?

An anonymous letter from a science fiction writer and historian

When astronomers discovered the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object, the scientific community started talking about a "third visitor from interstellar space." But did they visit us so rarely? My research on ancient Sumerian texts, compared with astronomical data and anomalies in recent years, leads to a frightening conclusion: 3I/ATLAS is not a random wanderer. It's a comeback. The return of what our ancestors called Mulu-Oak, the "Destroyer Star," and whose appearance was invariably accompanied by cataclysms and changes in civilizations.

    Footprints in the clay

The clues are hidden in tablets from Nippur, Uruk and Lagash, cities where astronomer priests observed the sky with an accuracy that amazes modern scientists. In the texts of the Enuma Elish (cosmogonic epic) series, there is a description of a "heavenly wanderer who comes once in a great cycle." His path "draws a trail of fire, and his shadow is like the wing of death." The tablet VAT 12678 (Berlin Museum) shows the calculation: "When the Mulu-Oak appears for the third time after the Great Flood, the gods will leave their homes, and people will see signs in the waters and stones."

What is this, if not a description of a comet with a hyperbolic orbit — an object not tied to the Sun, coming from the depths of the Galaxy? According to the texts, the Sumerians observed it three times.:

The first visit was in 12,000 BC (according to their chronology, "before the Flood"). The texts speak of "heavenly fire that scorched the earth," followed by the "era of the forgotten kings."

The second visit took place around 3100 BC, in the era of the formation of the first city-states. Tablets from Uruk mention "a star that stood above the horizon for seven nights, and at that time the gods gave people writing."

The third visit was in 2300 BC, which coincided with the decline of the Akkadian Empire. In the chronicles of Sargon the Ancient, there are lines: "The sky opened, and a shadow covered the sun. The Mulu-Oak was brought by the wind that broke the thrones."

    Astronomical coincidences
Skeptics will say, "These are myths, not science." But let's compare:

Orbital parameters. The calculations of the Sumerian priests (recorded in the Mul.According to the Apin — astronomical Compendium), the Mulu-Oak appears every 4,800-5,200 years. The orbital period of 3I/ATLAS, according to ESA, is ~5,000 years, within the margin of error of ancient observations.

The perihelion point. The texts repeatedly mention that "a star rises above Mount Nibiru" (perhaps a metaphor for the point of the ecliptic). Modern calculations show that 3I/ATLAS passed perihelion in the constellation of Taurus— where the Sumerians placed the "gates of heaven."

Related phenomena. The chronicles describe "blood rains," "glowing clouds," and "voices in stone," phenomena that today can be explained by cometary dust emissions, atmospheric ionization, and electromagnetic anomalies.

    The "Gods" as witnesses

The most disturbing thing is the connection of Mulu-Dubh with "those who came from heaven." In the Epic of Gilgamesh, there is an episode where the hero meets Utnapishtim, who survived the Flood: "He said, 'When the destroyer star came, the gods boarded the boats and flew away. They looked down as the earth turned to ashes." This suggests that 3I/ATLAS is not just a comet. This is a signal, either for certain entities or for mechanisms left on Earth.

Texts from Eridu (the oldest Sumerian city) speak of "guardian stones" that "will awaken when Mulu-Oak returns." Archaeologists have repeatedly found strange artifacts —crystals with engravings, metal plates with incomprehensible symbols—but they were ignored as "ritual objects." And if these are receivers? Devices activated by comet radiation?

    Modern signs

Today we see repetitions of ancient signs.:

Anomalies of the hydrosphere. In 2023, bioluminescence outbreaks were observed in the rivers of India and Brazil, inexplicable from the point of view of biology. The Sumerians called it the "tears of Mulu-Oak."

Geomagnetic storms. During the periods of approach of 3I/ATLAS to the Earth, jumps in the ionosphere were recorded, causing disruptions in GPS and radio communications. In the tablets from Ur, it is described as "the voice of heaven that drowns out the words of people."

Mass visions. In Mexico and China, hundreds of eyewitnesses reported "dark figures in the sky" appearing during the days of the comet's maximum brightness. Sumerian priests interpreted such phenomena as the "coming of messengers."
    What will happen next?
According to the chronicles, each visit of Mulu-Dubh was accompanied by a transformation of power.:

After the first arrival (12,000 BC) There were "demigod kings" who ruled for thousands of years.
After the second (3100 BC) writing and the first cities appeared.
After the third (2300 BC), empires collapsed, and new kingdoms arose in their place.

Now, in 2025, we are on the threshold of the fourth cycle. What does it mean? Possible scenarios:

A technological leap. If the guardian stones are activated, humanity can gain access to forgotten knowledge — or to weapons capable of destroying civilization.

A biological mutation. There are references in the texts to the "seed of the stars", which "germinates in the blood of people." It is possible that 3I/ATLAS radiation will cause genetic changes.

Contact. Perhaps the comet is a beacon that attracts the "gods" back. The Fate Tables (VAT series) say: "When the Mulu Oak rises above Nibiru, they will return to judge the living."

    A warning from the past

In one of the tablets found in the temple of Enlil (Nippur), there is a warning: "Anyone who reads these words should know that the Mulu Oak Tree does not bear evil. She is a mirror. It shows who we have become. If your hearts are pure, she will give you wings. If not, it will be the end of you."

This is not a threat, but a test. 3I/ATLAS is not a killer comet. It is a mirror of civilization. Her return forces us to ask the question: are we ready to face the past—and what awaits us beyond the stars?

All coincidences are accidental, the story is a fictional tale.
